said bridge to intersect the roads above mentioned, to be opened and con-
structed by the County Commissioners of Caroline and Talbot Counties
respectively, and to be paid for as other county roads are opened and paid
for under the road law of Caroline and Talbot Counties then in force;
provided, however, that none of the provisions of this Act shall become
operative until the same shall have received the sanction of the Boards
of the County Commissioners of the counties aforesaid.
BRIDGE AT OXFORD.

41B. The County Commissioners of Talbot County and the Commis-
sioners of the town of Oxford are hereby authorized and empowered, in
their discretion, to construct a drawbridge across Town creek, in the town
of Oxford, in said county, at a point at the foot of Market street, in the
said town.

41C. The said County Commissioners and Commissioners of the town
of Oxford are hereby authorized and empowered to levy upon the assessable
property of Talbot County and the town of Oxford a tax sufficient to pay
the cost of constructing said drawbridge.

41D. The County Commissiouers of Talbot County are hereby author-
ized and empowered, in their discretion, to construct a bridge across Rolle's
creek, in Talbot County.

41E. The said County Commissioners of Talbot County are hereby
authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to levy on the assessable
property in said county, and collect a sufficient sum of money to pay the
cost of constructing and maintaining said bridge and the causeways lead-
ing thereto.

41F. Miles River bridge shall be under the management and control
of the county commissioners, and shall be a free bridge for the citizens
and residents of Talbot county; and during the month of April of each
year the county commissioners shall appoint a keeper for said bridge, at a
salary of two hundred and fifty dollars per annum.
