4428 ARTICLE 20.

1898, oh. 469. 1902, ch. 30, sec. 1.

181. The lines between election district No. three, known as Brinkley's
election district, and election district No. eight, known as Lawson's elec-
tion district, as now laid down, are changed, and the line which shall
hereafter divide said districts shall be as follows: Beginning at the mouth
of Colboum's creek, and running up said creek by and with the channel to
the head thereof near the residence of Aden Davis; thence in a straight
line to a lane, known as the Chapel lane; thence by and with said lane
in an eastwardly direction, to the Crisfield branch of the New York,
Philadelphia and Norfolk Railroad; thence by and with said railroad in a
northwardly direction to the point where the county road leading from
the "Steamboat Wharf" to Marion station crosses said railroad at said
Marion station; thence in an eastwardly direction by and with the county
road leading from said railroad crossing to Tull's corner until the bridge,
commonly called "The Branch Bridge," is reached; thence by and with
the creek or stream crossed by said bridge, known as "East Creek," to its
mouth in the "Pocomoke Sound."*

182. The lines between election district No. 3, known as Brinkley's
election district, and election district No. 13, known as Westover election
district, as now laid down, be changed, and that the line which shall here-
after divide said districts shall be as follows: Beginning with the county
bridge, spanning the Annamessex river, near the Scarborough property;,
thence by and with the Annamessex river in an eastwardly direction to the
old Annamessex river bridge near the residence of the late George R.
Dennis; thence in a southwardly direction by and with the main county
road to CarrolPs Comer, near the site, of the old Kingston M. E. Church;
thence eastwardly by and with and following the present line between
said Brinkley's and Westover districts to Bogg's Corner; thence northeast-
wardly by the county road leading to R. W. Adam's old steam mill site,
to the present line between Westover and Dublin districts at or near said
steam mill site. +

ELECTIONS.

1902, ch. 292.

183. The judges and clerks appointed by the Board of Supervisors of
Election for Somerset county shall not be required to appear before the
said board for the purpose of examination, nor to be sworn in, as required
by Section 9 of Article 33, Code of Public General Laws, but the mem-
bers of said board, before making appointments of any such judges and
clerks, shall thoroughly inform themselves as to the qualifications of the
parties appointed, and shall not require their attendance before said board
for such examination, and shall appoint only such persons as are known
