1. The almshouse in St. Mary's county, and the property thereto at-
tached shall be under the exclusive management and control of the county
commissioners.

2. The County Commissioners may annually at their first regular
meeting in June, or as soon thereafter as practicable, let said almshouse
and other property to such person as they may deem fit, and the said
Commissioners may, in their discretion, provide for the maintenance and
support of such paupers as may be inmates of said almshouse, or those
who thereafter may be committed thereto, at a cost not exceeding seventy-
five dollars each per annum.

3. Any one of the county commissioners may, in writing, direct the ad-
mission of any poor person to said almshouse.
