QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY. 4253

Queen Anne's, Dorchester, Talbot and Anne Arundel counties, in taking
or catching oysters with any implements or device other than ordinary
rakes or tongs with wooden shafts, to be used entirely by hand, and
without any ropes or hoisting gear whatever. Any person violating the
provisions of this section shall be liable to the penalties prescribed in the
public general laws, article 72, title "Oysters," section 21, for taking
oysters with rakes, or tongs without license.

323. The citizens and inhabitants of Queenstown, Queen Anne's Coun-
ty, Maryland, are hereby created a body corporate under the name and
style of "The Commissioners of Queenstown," with all the rights and
privileges of a body corporate and as such may sue and be sued and may
have and use a common seal and alter the same at pleasure.

324. The present bounds and limits of Queenstown shall be as follows :
Beginning at the foot of Old Wharf Lane and running thence with the
linos of the creek shore in a westerly direction until it intersects the divi-
sional line between, the lands of William McKenney and the land of
William McConnor, thence with said divisional line extended a south-
easterly course across the "Gallows Field Farm" of William Hannetta
De May, until it reaches a point in a straight line northeast with the ex-
treme southern boundary of George Shepherd's land, thence due northeast
with the line of George Shepherd's property until it intersects the south-
west side of the Wye Neck Public Road, thence down the southwest side
of said road toward the town until it reaches a point on the southwest side
of said road opposite the thorn hedge on the lower line of the farm of
Hiram G. Dudley, and then across the Wye Neck Road, and following
the boundary line of said farm until it reaches the public road leading to
Centreville, and along said road leading to Centreville until it reaches a
point opposite the south or southwest boundary of the Old Wharf Lane,
and thence on the south or southwest side of said Wharf Lane to the point
of beginning.

325. All persons of twenty-one years of age and upwards, owning
property in said town, or who shall have resided in said town for the
period of six months previous to any election for town commissioners, be-
ing of twenty-one years of age and upwards and who shall be qualified
to vote for delegates to the General Assembly of Maryland, shall be en-
titled to vote for town commissioners, provided, they are taxpayers on
property located or held in said town, and any resident property holder
and taxpayer in said town of twenty-one years and upwards, qualified
to vote for delegates to the General Assembly as aforesaid, shall be quali-
