deem necessary to protect and preserve the plant and equipment mentioned
and provide by this act.

122. It shall be the duty of the commissioners or municipal officers

of said corporation to cause to be published annually for one week in two
newspapers published in said town an annual statement of receipts from

consumers for use of the electric plant and of all expenditures of main-
taining and repairing said plant and enlarging the same.

123. Nothing in this act contained is intended or shall be taken or
construed as relieving the Town Commissioners of Centreville from any

and all provisions of Chapter 180 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1910, known as the Public Service Commission Law, or any

amendment thereto, to the extent that the same may apply to municipal

electric light, heat and power or gas plants.

124. The Town Commissioners of Centreville, a Municipal Corpora-
tion, is hereby authorized and empowered to sell the municipal electric
lighting and power plant consisting of dynamos, exciters, boilers, engines,
transformers, meters, turbines, poles, pole lines and all equipment belong-
ing thereto, when, in its judgment, an adequate and just price can be
obtained therefor and at the same time proper and adequate arrangements
can be made for the lighting of said town of Centreville and supplying
it with electrical current.

125. When the Town Commissioners of Centreville have received an

offer for said Electric Plant and Equipment, which, in its judgment is
adequate, that it shall then enter into a written contract with said pur-

chasers to which said contract a good and sufficient bond of said purchaser
or purchasers, with surety or sureties to be approved by the Town Com-

missioners of Centreville, shall be attached, for the carrying out of the
provisions of said contract of sale, when said sale shall become effective

and enforcible under the provision of this Act as hereinafter set forth.

126. When the sale of the municipal electric lighting and power plant

of Centreville shall be made under the provisions of this Act, the proceeds

arising from said sale shall be used by the Town Commissioners of Centre-
ville in the following order and manner:

(a) To pay all expenses and charges incident to said sale.

(b) To pay all outstanding bonds and indebtedness of the municipal

electric lig'hting and power plant of Centreville.

(c) To pay all other bonds and outstanding indebtedness of the mu-
nicipal corporation of the town of Centreville.
