191. Whenever a judgment, or decree, or decretal order is rendered
or passed in said court, it shall be the duty of the clerk to enter upon an
index to be kept for that purpose, the names of all defendants against
whom the same shall have been rendered or passed,

192. Whenever a judgment rendered in said court shall be superseded,
it shall be the duty of the clerk to index the names of all persons super-
seding the same.

PLATS.

1922, ch. 211, sec. 151A.

193. No plat shall be received for record by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Anne Arundel County, unless the same is drawn in ink, printed
or lithographed, upon tracing cloth or linen or paper backed with linen
not exceed in dimension 36 inches in length by 34 inches in width.

1922, ch. 211, sec. 151B.

194. It shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County to record all plats left with him to be recorded by tran-
scribing and copying the same in books suitable for such purpose, which
books shall be made of drawing paper of good quality, and shall be sub-
stantially bound, with proper index or indexes; said clerk shall cause all
such plats left with him for record to be actually recorded in said books
by a person skilled in such work and shall preserve the original of the
same among the records of said office.

The expense of recording such plats shall be taxed by him at the time
the same are left for record, and shall be paid by the party by whom said
plats shall be left for record.

1922, ch. 211, sec. 151C.

195. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County is
hereby authorized and directed to procure suitable books made of drawing
paper of good quality and substantially bound, not less than 36 inches in
length by 24 inches in width, and said clerk shall cause a full and com-
plete index or indexes to be made thereof, and shall file and preserve
among the records of his office all the original plats contained in said
plat books and tubes and said plat record books.

196. All plats recorded under the provisions of this Act and all plats
