MONTGOMERY COUNTY. 3547

180 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910, known as
the Public Service Commission Law, or any amendment thereto, beyond
the specific provisions of this Act, provided however, that said corporation
before commencing work or construction upon any portion of any State
road or roads included in the State roads system, constructed or adopted
as a part of the State Roads system, shall apply to the State Roads Com-
mission for a permit to construct its lines and overhead equipments upon
or over any such road, and all work done under such permit, upon any
such road or crossing of said road, shall be done in conformity with the
rules and regulations of the State Roads Commission, and located as des-
ignated by said Commission, and in full compliance with the provisions
and terms of any permit granted by said State Roads Commission and to
the satisfaction of said commission; and before doing any such work the
said corporation shall file with the said State Roads Commission, if re-
quired a bond in such amount and penalty as the State Roads Commission
may require for the satisfactory performance of all the terms and condi-
tions of said permit.

734. The Register of Wills of Montgomery County is hereby author-
ized and directed to transcribe, or cause to be transcribed, the contents of
the present General Index of Wills in his office into a new book upon the
same system as that now in use for that purpose which said book when
copied and compared under the direction of said Register, with the present
General Index, shall be substituted for and take the place of the present
General Index of Wills in said office.

ROADS.

735. The county commissioners are authorized and directed to divide
the several districts of Montgomery County into as many road districts,
and alter the same from time to time as they may deem expedient, and to
appoint one supervisor for each of said road districts at their first meeting
in the month of April, in each year.

736. Each supervisor is required to report to the county commission-
ers, at their first meeting in the month of May, what repairs are necessary
to be made on the public roads and bridges in his road district.

737. The supervisor of each road district is authorized to hire horses,
wagons, carts and plows, and to employ not less than six able-bodied men
