3528 ARTICLE 16.

any officer, official or officials of Montgomery County, shall be published
in more than two newspapers regarded as Montgomery County newspapers
of general circulation in Montgomery County. Provided that only the
delinquent tax report, election notice, and sample ballot may be printed
in not more than three newspapers regarded as Montgomery County papers
and having a general circulation in Montgomery County. And be it fur-
ther provided that the delinquent tax report for any particular group of
election districts of Montgomery County not exceeding three may be
printed in any paper regarded as a County paper and having general cir-
culation in the County which is not authorized to print the entire list of
delinquent taxes for the County.

666. Any officer or official authorizing the publication of any report,
notice, return, schedule, list of delinquent taxpayers or any official publi-
cation, in violation of the preceding section, shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, punishable by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars for
each violation, and to be recoverable before the Police Justice or the Cir-
cuit Court of Montgomery County.

OAKMONT.

1918, ch 190, sec. 1.

667. For the purpose of this Act the subdivision of Oakmont, of Mont-
gomery County, Maryland, bounded as per plat recorded among the Land
Records of said Montgomery County, shall constitute a special tax area
or district.

668. The Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County are
authorized, empowered and directed to levy and cause to be collected from
the property owners at the time of the county tax levy for the year 1918,
and each succeeding year within said area of Oakmont as created by this
Act, amounts to be fixed by them not less than ten (10) cents nor more
than fifty (50) cents on each one hundred (100) dollars' worth of assess-
able property in said subdivision of Oakmont, Montgomery County, to be
collected as other county taxes in said county are collected; to be paid over
by the said Board of County Commissioners to the Treasurer of said Oak-
mont subdivision to be selected from among their number by a majority
of the members of the Oakmont Citizens' Committee of said Oakmont
subdivision, or by their successors to be selected as herein provided. Upon
said Treasurer having been duly selected by such Committee and giving
bond to said Board of County Commissioners, to be approved by the Judge
of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County in a penal sum to be fixed
by the said Judge, conditioned upon faithful discharge of the duties of
said Treasurer, the said Board of County Commissioners shall also order
and have paid over to the said Treasurer the proportion of the county
