taken from the office of said State's Attorney, excepting for the use of the'
Grand Jury for said County, or for production in Court, without an order-
of the Court first had and obtained as above provided.

157. Any stenographer appointed as aforesaid, who shall violate any
of the provisions of the three preceding sections with regard to secrecy
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof, shall
be fined not exceeding one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars, or imprisoned
in jail not exceeding one year or both fined and imprisoned in the discre-
tion of the Court.

158. The County Commissioners of Montgomery County are hereby
authorized and directed to levy the sum of fifteen hundred ($1500) dol-
lars, to be expended by the Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Mary-
land, resident in Montgomery County, for the purchase of the books,
necessary, in his discretion, for the establishment of a Circuit Court Law
Library.

1924, ch. 530, sec. 2.

159. The County Commissioners of Montgomery County are hereby
authorized and directed to levy the sum of three hundred ($300) dollars
for the-year nineteen hundred and twenty-five (1925), and every year
thereafter, for the maintenance of the Circuit Court Law Library at
Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland.

160. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Montgomery County shall be
custodian of the Circuit Court Law Library of Montgomery County, and
in such capacity, to have full charge of and responsibility for the prop-
erty of said Law Library, and to report in January of each year to the
Montgomery County Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Maryland
the condition and location of the books and other property of said Circuit
Court Law Library.

161. The clerk of said court shall make a full and general alphabetical
index, after the method known as the Campbell system, in a book well
bound for the purpose, of all judgments recovered in said court, which,
index shall be indexed in the name of each defendant in said judgments,
and shall also show the plaintiff the amount of the judgment, the date at
which it was obtained, and from which it bears interest, the term of the
