3206 ARTICLE 15.

hide from any place in Kent County to any place with-out Kent County,
and possession of any fox or fox hide shall be prima facie evidence of a
violation of this section, but nothing in this Act shall be so construed as

to prevent the killing of foxes ait any time by any person while they are
in pursuit or in the act of killing or carrying away of his, her or their
poultry or within a reasonable time thereafter.

196. Any person or persons violating the provisions of this Act shall be

deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before a
Justice of the Peace shall be fined in a sum not less than Ten Dollars nor
more than Twenty-five Dollars, one-half of such fine shall be paid to the
informer causing the arrest and conviction and the remaining one-half

shall be paid to the State Game Department to be credited to the State
Game Protection Fund to be used as provided by law, and it shall be the

duty of the several Deputy State Game Wardens in Kent County to

strictly enforce the provisions of this Act.*

197. The town formerly known as Georgetown Cross Roads, in Kent

county, shall be called Galena.

198. The citizens of said town are a body politic by the name of "The
Town Commissioners of Galena/' and by their corporate name may sue

and be sued, grant, receive, convey, bargain and sell and hold real, per-
sonal and mixed property, and have a common seal, and alter the same at
pleasure, and do all acts and things for the benefit of said town, not con-
trary to law.

199. An election shall be held on the first Monday of May, in the year
1904, and on the first Monday in May in each year thereafter, for the
purpose of electing three persons out of the legal voters of said town aa
Commissioners, who shall hold their office for one year, and until their

successors are chosen and qualified.

200. All elections for said commissioners shall be held as the town com-
missioners shall direct; provided, they be held annually; and all persons
who shall have resided in said town for six months next preceding the
election, and are entitled to vote at any State election, shall be qualified
to vote for said town commissioners.
