missioners for Kent County from William Frank Hines and Mary E.
Hines, his wife, by deed dated November 26th, 1895, and recorded in
Liber S. G. F. 6, Folio 455, land record books of Kent County, State of
Maryland, and to give a good and sufficient deed for said property or
any part thereof so sold, to the purchaser or purchasers thereof, the au-
thority and power conferred by this section to be exercised in the discre-
tion of the said County Commissioners or a majority of them, if the said
County Commissioners sell said lot or any part thereof the proceeds from
said sale or sales shall be paid over to the County Treasurer of said county
as a part of the general funds of said county.

149. The County Commissioners of Kent County shall, thirty days
before making their annual levy ask for bids for printing and publishing
all such matters as they may be required by law to cause to be published
in Kent County, Maryland, in two newspapers, except the public local
laws which may be passed by the General Assembly of Maryland; such
notice asking for bids for said printing shall run for two consecutive
issues and shall state the date and hour which bids for such printing will
be opened; and the County Commissioners shall award the contract for
such printing for a period of one year, to two or more responsible news-
papers making the lowest bids for such printing, provided such contract
shall not allow for such printing a sum exceeding in the aggregate One
Thousand Dollars.

150. If the said county commissioners shall not succeed in effecting
said contract with any two papers published in Kent county, then they
are hereby authorized to contract with any paper or papers published in
said county, or with any person elsewhere to do the work aforesaid, in
handbill or pamphlet form, for a sum not exceeding in the aggregate the
sum of one thousand dollars as aforesaid.

151. In event of publication aforesaid, in handbill or pamphlet form,
said county commissioners shall provide, in their discretion, for posting
said handbills in a sufficient number of public places in said county, and
for distribution of said pamphlets for the information of the public.

152. At the general election of delegates to be held on the Tuesday
after the firt Monday in November, 1926, and every four years thereafter,
there shall be elected a County Treasurer for Kent County by the quali-
fied voters of said county, who shall hold his office for the term of four
years from the first day of June following, and until a successor is elected
