shall be sentenced to be confined in the county jail for not less than
thirty days nor more than six months.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 382.

373. The provisions of this sub-title of this article shall not apply to
sales by the manufacturers of cider in quantities not less than a gallon,
which shall not be drunk on the premises of the manufacturer, nor to
sales of spirituous or fermented liquors by the manufacturer thereof to
any person licensed to sell spirituous or fermented liquors in said City.

374. Whenever any license shall be suppressed for any violation of this
sub-title of this article, it shall not be lawful for the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Harford County to grant a license to any other person to sell
spirituous or fermented liquors upon the premises covered by the license
suppressed, for the term of one year from the date of such suppression.

375. All licenses issued under this sub-title of this Article shall ex-
pire on the first day of May annually, but licenses may be issued for a
shorter period than one year upon the payment of a proportional part
of the license fee hereinbefore provided for.

Licenses issued under the said sections of this sub-title shall be trans-
ferable as traders' licenses now are under the public general laws of this
State; provided, that before any license under this subtitle of this Article-
is assigned or transferred, the assignee shall have complied with all the-
provisions of the aforesaid sections required of any applicant for an
original license, except the payment to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
the hereinbefore mentioned license fee.

376. In any prosecution under this sub-title of this article, it shall
only be necessary to state that the traverser did sell or give away spiritu-
ous or fermented liquors, without specifying the particular kind of liquor.

1916, ch. 680, sec. 386.

377. All prosecutions for violations of any of the provisions of this
sub-title of this article shall be upon presentment and indictment, except
as hereinbefore specially provided for; and one-half of all fines imposed
under said Sections shall be paid to the County Commissioners of Har-
ford County for the use of said county, and one-half of said fines shall
be paid to the School Commissioners of said County, for the use of the
public schools under their control.

378. Whenever the word "person" is used in any of said sections of
this sub-title of this article, it shall be construed to embrace natural or
