GARRETT COUNTY. 2749

1908, ch. 67, sec. 9 (p. 815).

160. District number eight (8) shall be known as Ryans Glade dis-
trict and shall begin on the State line where that line crosses the Rhine
fork of the Toughiogheny river, and run down said river to the mouth of
Cherry creek; then up Cherry creek to the mouth of Bungey's run; then
up Bungey's run to where that run was formerly crossed by the old
Moorefield trunpike; then by a straight line to the forks of the West
Union and Mason roads at Gortner; then with the Mason road to where
the old Moorefield road crossed the said Mason road; then with the old
Moorefield road eastward to the summit of the Back Bone Mountain;
then with the crest of the said mountain northeasterly to the county road
leading from Mountain Lake to Ryan's Glade; then with said Ryan's
Glade road to the forks of the road at the M. E. Church; then along the
Altamont road to the bridge over Laurel run near the Davis mill; then
down said Laurel run to the State line upon the right or east bank of the
river near Schell; then up the right or east bank of the Potomac river
to its source; then with the State line due north to the beginning at the
intersection of Rhine forks of Toughiogheny river.

161. District number nine (9) shall be known as Johnson district and
shall begin on the summit of Great Savage Mountain where said mountain
is crossed by Mason and Dixon's line and run with the line of Allegany
county to where said line intersects Wright's run; then up said run
by its west fork to the head thereof; then by a straight line, crossing
Savage Mountain to the bridge over Savage run near the John Wilhelm
place; then up Savage river to the mouth of Mudlick run; then up said
run to a point from which a line drawn due north will pass just west of a
point which was formerly known as the Recknor tavern upon the old
National pike; then from the above described point, on Mudlick run,
due north to Mason and Dixon's line; thence with Mason and Dixon's
line due east to the summit of Savage Mountain, the point of beginning.

162. District number ten (10) shall be known as Deer Park district
and shall begin at the State dam across Deep creek east of Shayesville
and run by a straight line to the Burnt School House on Hooppole ridge;
then by a straight line to the head of Broad Ford run; then with said run
to where it empties into Little Youghiogheny river; then to the Ryan's
Glade county road as formerly located east of Mountain Lake park and
Loch Linn; then running with the Ryan's Glade road crossing the Back
Bone Mountain at Kelso's Gap to the M. E. Church in Ryan's Glade at the
forks of the Ryan's Glade and Altamont roads; then along the Altamont
road to the bridge over Laurel run near Davis' mill; then down said Laurel
run to the State line upon the right and east bank of the Potomac river
near Schell; then down the right or east bank of the river to a point
opposite the mouth of Lost Land run; then up the north prong of Lost
Land run to the summit of the Back Bone Mountain; then along the
