is crossed by the public road leading from Stanton's Mill, in said county,
to Salesburg, Pennsylvania, if the said commissioners shall deem it advis-
able to build such bridge; and if they deem it proper to build such bridge,
they shall, in erecting it, proceed according to the provisions of the gen-
eral law on that subject.

49. There shall be two jury and two non-jury regular common law
terms of the Circuit Court for Garrett county, to be held in Oakland;
the two jury terms shall commence on the first Monday of June and the
first Monday of December, respectively, each year; and the two non-jury
terms shall commence on the third Monday of March and the second Mon-
day of September, respectively, in each year; and to said jury terms
jurors shall be summoned and returned in the mode prescribed by law;
and in the trial of any cause in said court the judges or judge presiding
shall have the power and authority to employ a stenographer or shorthand
reporter to take down proceedings, including the testimony for the use
of the court; and the County Commissioners shall levy such compensation
of such stenographer or shorthand reporter as the court or judges thereof
shall approve of, or the court or judge may require; said compensation to
be taxed as part of the costs of the cause, and to be paid by either or both
of the parties to the cause as the court or judges may deem equitable;
provided, that the compensation of said stenographer or shorthand re-
porter shall not exceed six dollars per diem for the time actually employed.

50. In all suits and actions at law commenced between the third Mon-
day of March, 1906, and the second Monday of September in the same
year, process issued thereon or in connection therewith shall be returnable
to the September term, as provided for and fixed by this Act; and the
first term of said court to be held under the provisions of this Act shall
commence on the second Monday of September in the year 1906.

51. The trial terms of the courts of law shall be the term next suc-
ceeding the term to which original process shall be returnable.

52. In addition to the first day of each term of the Circuit Court for
Garrett County, now fixed by law, the second Monday in January, Feb-
ruary, April, May, July, August, October and November, in each year,
