FREDERICK; COUNTY. 2513

The southern boundary of Precinct No. 8 shall begin at the intersec-
tion of North Market and Fourth streets and proceed eastwardly in the
middle of East Fourth street and continuing in the same direction to the
corporate limits. The western boundary of Precinct No. 8 shall begin
at the intersection of North Market and Fourth streets and proceed north-
wardly in the middle of North Market street to the corporate limits.

And the said qualified voters of said City shall vote at their respective
polls for a Mayor, for a City Register and for five Aldermen, all of which
officials shall be voted for at large by the voters of the entire city.

327. The Governor shall appoint on or before the first day of April,
in the year 1922, unless such appointment shall already have been made
under existing law, and on or before the same day every third year there-
after, for the City of Frederick, three persons, who shall constitute and
be styled "The Board of Supervisors of Elections for Frederick City";
said Supervisors shall be residents and voters of said city, and two of
them shall always be selected from the majority political party of the
State; one from the minority party; they shall be men of high character
and integrity and of recognized business capacity. Each of said Super-
visors of Elections shall receive the sum of seventy-five dollars as compen-
sation for his services during his term of office from the Mayor and
Aldermen of Frederick. The salaries and all other expenses incurred by
them in the proper discharge of their duties as such Supervisors of Elec-
tions shall be audited and paid by the Board of Aldermen by warrant
drawn upon the proper officers of said city; any person or persons ap-
pointed Supervisors of Elections of said city in pursuance of this section
as it stood prior to the passage of this Act shall perform the duties re-
quired by them by law, and all their acts hereafter done in pursuance of
such appointment shall be as valid and effectual as if their appointment
had been made subsequent to the passage of this Act and in pursuance
thereof.

328. Before entering upon the duties of their office, said Supervisors
of Elections shall each take and subscribe the oath prescribed in the
sixth section of the first Article of the Constitution, and also an oath to
perform faithfully and honestly the duties imposed upon them by law.
These oaths shall be taken before and duly recorded by the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Frederick County, who shall be entitled to a fee of
twenty-five cents for each oath, to be paid by the supervisor. Within ten
days after their appointment, the said Supervisors of Election shall
organize as a board by electing one of their number as president; and
they shall hold office for three years, and until their successors are ap-
pointed and qualified, unless sooner removed, for good cause shown, by
the Governor, who shall have power to so remove them at any time, upon
written charges, after notice and hearing.
