Second Ward: This ward begins at the southeast corner of High
Street and Gay Alley; thence in a southerly direction, parallel with Pine
Street, to a boundary planted in the middle of Muir Street, distant four
hundred and eighty-three feet in a westward direction from the kerb of
the westward side of Race Street; thence in a line parallel with said Pine
Street in a southward direction a distance of one hundred and ninety-four
and seven-tenths feet to another bounder there planted; thence in a south-
east direction three hundred and forty-eight feet to the northwest corner
of the store now occupied by E. M. Skinner & Brother, said last name
bounder being one hundred and thirty-four feet distant from the westward
kerb of Race Street; thence in a southward direction parallel with Pine
Street to a bounder planted in the middle of Washington Street; thence
with the middle of Washington Street, in a westward direction three hun-
dred and forty-eight feet to a boundary there planted; thence parallel with
Pine Street to the southern limits of the said town; thence with the west-
ern boundary of said town to the Horn's Point Road; thence therewith
westerly to the second boundary; thence with the western limits to inter-
sect a line drawn from the southeast comer of High Street and Gay Alley
parallel with Glasgow Street; thence with said line reversed parallel with
Glasgow Street to the beginning.
Third Ward: This ward begins at the foot of Gay Street; thence with
Court. Lane to the northwest edge of High Street; thence with the north-
west edge of High Street to a point opposite the southeast corner of High
Street and Gay Alley; thence across High Street to the southeast corner
of High Street and Gay Alley; thence in a southerly direction, parallel
with Pine Street, to the middle of Muir Street; thence with the middle of
Muir Street to the middle of Cambridge Creek; thence down the middle
of Cambridge Creek to intersect the first; line of the First Ward, and there-
with to the place of beginning.
Fourth Ward. This ward begins at the foot of Muir Street; thence
with the middle of Muir Street to a boundary planted in the middle of
said Muir Street distant four hundred and eighty-three feet in a westward
direction, from the curb on the westward side of Race Street; thence in a
southeast direction parallel with Pine Street, one hundred and ninety-
four and seven-tenths feet to a boundary there planted; thence in a south-
eastward direction three hundred and forty-eight feet to the northwest cor-
ner of the store now occupied by E. M. Skinner & Brother. Said last-
named bounder being one hundred and thirty-four feet distant from the
westward curb of Race Street; thence in a southward direction parallel
with Pine Street to a boundary planted in the middle of Washington
Street; thence three hundred and forty-eight feet with the middle of
Washington Street in a westward direction to a boundary there planted;
thence with a line parallel with Pine Street to the southern limits of the
town; thence with the southern and eastern limits of said town to the foot
of Cemetery Avenue and the middle of Cambridge Creek; thence down
the middle of Cambridge Creek to a point opposite the middle of Muir
Street; thence to the place of beginning.
