212. Fences to be made or kept in repair under the preceding sections
shall be at least four feet high and shall be sufficiently close to prevent
hogs from passing through the same, but no barbed or saw-edged wire
shall be used in the construction of the same, except by agreement between
the parties.

213. If any person having an interest in any division fence shall fail
to make or keep in repair his part thereof, he shall not be entitled to any
damages on account of any trespass through said part by stock belonging
to or in charge of the owner of the other part of said fence; and if he shall
kill, maim or otherwise injure such stock, upon conviction thereof he shall
be liable civilly to the owner of such stock to the extent of his damages,
and shall also be liable to an indictment for a misdemeanor punishable by
fine or imprisonment or both in the discretion of the court by which he
shall be tried.

214. Any person or persons who shall shoot, kill or wound any fox or
foxes while being pursued by hounds or hound within the limits of Cecil
County shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
shall pay a fine of ten dollars for every such offense, together with the
costs of prosecution, and upon failure to pay the same to be committed
to the county jail until fine and costs are paid.

215. It shall not be lawful to shoot, shoot at, trap, set a trap for, in-
jure or kill any fox in Cecil County while such fox in being pursued by dog
or dogs.

to take from any den a female fox, or her young whelps, or kill or in
any manner cause the death of such female fox or her young whelps, dur-
ing the period of time in which she is suckling them.
