event or within a reasonable time thereafter. All other circumstances of
the making of such writing or record, including lack of personal knowl-
edge by the entrant or maker, may be shown to affect its weight, but they
shall not affect its admissibility. The term "business" shall include busi-
ness, profession, occupation and calling of every kind.

Public Statutes and Office Copies and Official Certificates.

1927, ch. 584, sec. 56A.

56A. (Publications Covered by this Sub-title. ) Printed books or
pamphlets purporting on their face to be the session or other statutes of
any of the United States, or the territories thereof, or of any foreign juris-
diction, and to have been printed and published by the authority of any
such state, territory or foreign jurisdiction or proved to be commonly
recognized in its courts, shall be received in the courts of this state as
prima facie evidence of such statutes.

56B. (Uniformity of Interpretation. ) This sub-title comprising Sec-
tions 56A, 56B and 56C shall be so interpreted and construed as to effectu-
ate its general purposes to make uniform the law of those states which
enact it.
