3080 ARTICLE 99.

ized officer of the law as evidence of his membership, a card bearing his
name, the corporate seal and name of his club and the signature of the
president and secretary thereof; provided further that the secretary oi
said club file with the clerk of the Circuit Court wherein located a certi-
fied list of the membership of said club on or before the first day of
September of each year, and said club pays at least twenty-five dollars
per year in State and County taxes, otherwise said club shall pay the.
clerk of the Circuit Court a fee of twenty-five dollars to obtain the privi-
leges of this Section.

84. It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot muskrat, wild fowl
or game bird of any description on the Patuxent River or any of its tribu-
taries from sunset until sunrise under a fine of not less than five dollars
or more than twenty-five dollars and costs for each violation of this Act,
which may be recovered in the Circuit Court by residents of the State of
Maryland within the meaning and intention of this Act, provided that
such member exhibit, when demanded any, and the remainder or whole
thereof, as the case may be, to the Board of County School Commissioners
of such County, for the use of the public schools thereof; and upon convic-
tion and failure to pay the fine imposed and costs of the proceeding, the
person so convicted shall be committed by the court or justice who imposed
said fine in the County jail for a period not exceeding ten days.1

85. Any person desiring to erect and maintain a duck blind on the
shores of the Patuxent River and its tributaries or in the waters thereof
shall apply to the clerk of the Court of the county in which the blind is
to be located, annually, for a license and to pay the said clerk the sum of
five ($5.00) dollars for each blind erected or to be erected, and a fee of
twenty-five cents for issuing the same.

86. No person shall erect a blind in the waters opposite the property
of another without the written permission of the owner before the first
day of November of each year or within three hundred yards of another
licensed blind, the distance to be measured by shore line, if blind is on
the shore, or by air line, if erected in the water.

87. Whenever any blind shall be erected in water five feet deep, or
more, at mean low tide, all stakes or posts used in erecting said blind shall
be removed by. the owner at close of each duck season.

Wednesdays and Saturdays of each week during the open season.
