ARTICLE 99.

WILD FOWL—BIRDS AND GAME.

Wild Fowl.

1. Shooting at, in flocks from vessels or
boats forbidden.
2. From booby blinds, more than one
hundred yards from shore, forbidden.
3. Shooting at water-fowl flying about
their feeding grounds, from vessel or
canoe, or sink or sneak boats, unlaw-
ful.
4. Offenders; penalty.
5. Aiders and abetters; penalty.
6. Officer of state fishery force, sheriff,
constable or commissioned militia
officer may arrest, when; proceed-
ings.
7. Trial before justice.
8. Judgment of justice.
9. Forfeiture of boats and other property
seized.
10. Appeal.
11. Resistance to arrest a misdemeanor.
12. Distribution of proceeds of sale of for-
feited property; Baltimore, Harford
and Cecil counties excepted.
13. Disturbance of and shooting at from
boats, and shooting wounded or dead
ducks from power or sail boats, etc.,

boats, penalties; boats found near
wild fowl — shots fired therefrom —
evidence; provisos.
14. Closed season — ducks, geese, swan or
brant; penalty.
15. Shooting on Sundays; netting and trap-
ping ; rifle, dynamite ; penalty.
16. When fishing on Susquehanna flats,
prohibited; penalty.
17. Shooting at night, prohibited; prima
jade evidence, penalty; proviso.
18. Size of gun; penalty; evidence.

19. Jurisdiction of justices of peace; im-
prisonment; disposition of fines.

Birds and Game.

20-22. Closed season; exceptions; English
pheasants; penalty.
23. Wild duck, blackhead duck, wild goose,
wild swan or wild brant; when not
to be killed; penalty. Not to apply
to Cecil or Harford counties.
24. Doves may not be killed, when; pen-
alty.
25. Snipe or plover may not be killed,
when; penalty. Not applicable to
Worcester county.
26. Water-rail, ortolan, reed-bird, rail-bird
or rice-bird may not be killed, when ;
penalties.
27. Penalties for destroying or having in
possession at forbidden time certain
game.
28. Penalty for having such birds in pos-
session or exposing for sale at for-
bidden times.

31-40. Wild birds other than game birds —
provisions for protection of.

prescribed by law.
