333. Water supply or sewerage system
which becomes nuisance and which
cannot be remedied by change of
method in operation, board may
remedy; alterations or extensions;
new system or plant.
334. When waters of state become polluted
or dangerous to health due to lack
of a system of public water supply
or sewerage disposal, or in case of
lack of public system of water sup-
ply or sewerage disposal, board may
pass orders remedying conditions.
335. Counties, cities, corporations, etc., de-
siring to install water supply or sew-
erage system for public use to apply
to Board of Health for permit ; when
work completed certified copy of
plans to be filed with board; board .
to prescribe rules and regulations
and outline them to applicant; per-
mits or refusals to be issued prompt-
ly.
336. Counties and cities to raise funds in
order to comply with order of Board
of Health; issue of bonds, stocks,
etc.; same need not be submitted
to vote; expenditures of public,
money to be approved by Board of
Health.
337. Before land platted for sub-division
is marketed or permanent buildings
erected thereon, plans for water and
sewerage to be submitted to Board
of Health; board may order addi-
tional plans and installation of sys-
tem.
338. Waters polluted by wastes from man-
ufacturing or industrial establish-
ments; board to order discontinu-
ance of, and changes in method;
permits; plans showing existing
methods submitted to board.
339. Where water or ice is from source
which is or likely to become dan-
gerous, or sewerage is or is likely
to become dangerous, Board of
Health may close up source or place
of sewage discharge; changes to
remedy conditions ; condemnation of
sources of supply or sewage disposal.
340. Property upon 'which there is a spring,
well, cesspool, privy, etc., which may

become prejudicial to health, may
be ordered connected with water
supply or sewerage system if there
is one available, and spring, etc.,
abandoned; board may prevent con-
struction of well, cesspool, privy,
etc.; condemnation of structures.
341. Board of Health to have supervision
over water for potable purposes and
method of bottling, etc.; permits;
water from outside of Maryland.
342. Board of Health to have supervision
over ice used for domestic purposes ;
permits; place of storage and han-
