410 LICENSES. [ART. LVI
Those containing more than 4000 square feet, and not more
than 5000 square feet..................................$ 50.00
Those containing more than 5000 square feet, and not more
than 7500 square feet.................................. $ 75.00
Those containing more than 7500 square feet........... $100.00
A garage, as used within the terms of this Section, shall mean a
place of storage for hire or a place where there is kept for hire any
automobile, locomobile, or any vehicle of any kind, the motive power
of which shall be electricity, steam, gas, gasoline or any other motive
power except animals, whether such automobile, locomobile or vehicle is
kept therein permanently or temporarily.
Cash Register and Adding Machine Companies.
1916, ch. 704, sec. 167.
167. Each person, firm or corporation, resident or non-resident,
having a place of business displaying cash registers or adding machines,
or samples, photographs or illustrations from which sales are made,
shall first obtain a license therefor, and shall pay an annual license fee
of one hundred dollars.
Typewriting Machines.
1916, ch. 704. sec. 168.
168. Each person, firm or corporation, resident or non-resident,
having a place of business dealing exclusively in typewriters and type-
writer supplies or selling from samples, photographs or illustrations,
shall first obtain a license therefor, and shall pay an annual license fee
of ten dollars.
Commercial, Mercantile and Mutual Protective Agencies.
1916, ch. 704. sec. 169.
169. Each person, firm, agency or corporation, resident, or non-
resident, doing a commercial, mercantile or mutual protective agency
business in this State, shall before acting as such, first take out a license
therefor, by paying an annual license fee of one hundred dollars.
Intelligence Offices and Employment Agencies.
1916, ch. 704. sec. 170.
170. Each person, firm, agency or corporation maintaining an intel-
ligence office or employment agency in this State before doing so shall
first take out a license therefor by paying an annual tax of ten dollars
for each intelligence office or employment agency.
