Civil Jurisdiction.

In order to defeat the jurisdiction, of a justice of the peace under this
section, it must appear from the nature of the action itself that it was
one in which the title to land is necessarily and directly in issue; a suit
for the improper and negligent construction and operation of trains at and
near the plaintiff's residence is not such a case. B. & O. E. R. v. Owens,
