30 INDEX TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.

Art. Sec. Page

Mouse of Representatives. Shall not adjourn for more
than three days during the session of Congress
without the consent of the Senate.............. 1 5 4

For any speech or debate in either House, members

shall not be questioned in any other place........ 1 6 4

No person holding any office under the United States

shall, while holding such office, be a member of the 1 6 1

No member shall, during the time for which he was
elected, be appointed to an office which shall have
