LIVE STOCK.

State Live Stock Sanitary Board.

1. Appointment and tenure.
2. Duties and powers.
3. Quarantine; penalty.
4. Fees and expenses of board.
5. Veterinary inspector.

6. Non-compliance with inspector's or-
ders, or obstructing him; pen-
alty.
7. Veterinary doctors to report con-
tagious diseases; penalty.
8. What Inoculation unlawful; pen-
alty.
9. Payment for performing duties
herein Imposed.
10. State's attorney to prosecute and
to defend appeals.
11. Legal effect of acts of the board;
approval of appraisement ;
board's discretion.
12. Sale or exposure of diseased cat-
tle; penalty.
13. Exposure of healthy animal to in-
fection; penalty.
14. Appraisement and destruction where
disinfection impossible.
15. Appraisement; appeal; provisos.
16. Co-operation with United States
government.
17. Assistants to inspector in epidem-
ics.
18. Precautions to prevent sale of dis-
eased carcass as food; penalty.
19. Animals that have died of any in-
fectious disease to be buried or

Dairies.

20. Dairymen supplying milk must
register their cattle; penalty.
21. Live stock sanitary board must In-
spect premises annually wherein
cows are kept. Sale and ship-
ment of milk may be prohibited
until the following rules are
complied with.

Rules Regarding Stabling of Cows
for Dairy Purposes.

Rule 1. Buildings to be properly
lighted and ventilated and pro-
vided with suitable troughs and
feed boxes and properly drained.
Rule 2. Water closets and the like
not to be located within such
buildings — Certain animals not
to be kept therein.
Rule 3. Premises to be kept clean
and in good repair.
Rule 4. Buildings to be kept thor-
oughly clean, painted or white-
washed.
Rule 5. Receptacles for milk.
Rule 6. Cows to be cleaned every
day.
Rule 7. Enclosure to be graded and
drained. Penalty for disre-
garding these provisions.
22. Live stock sanitary board shall give
certificate of health when pro-
visions of this sub-title are com-
plied with.
23. Annual appropriation for carrying
out these provisions.
