by law for the collection of delinquent taxes due for town
purposes.

SEC. 49. The Commissioners'of Ridgely shall set apart all
money received from assessments as aforesaid, and accrued
interest thereon, as a sinking fund for the purpose of paying
the interest upon and the principal of the bonds issued under
the authority of this act, and the money so received shall not be
expended for any other purpose whatsoever; it shall be deposited
in such bank as the Commissioners of Ridgely elect, and any
increment earned shall be applied to the redemption of the
bond's and payment of interest thereon, issued under the author-
ity of this act.

SEC. 50. That the Commissioners of Ridgely are nereby
authorized and empowered to enter upon and condemn all lands
necessary for the installation, construction and operation of the
system of sewers and disposal works provided for in this act,
which condemnation shall be had in the same manner as now
provided by law for the opening of the streets of the Town of
Ridgely.

SEC. 51. That the Commissioners of Ridgely are hereby
authorized and empowered to make all the necessary rules and
regulations governing the use of the sewers as provided for in
this act; to provide rules and regulations governing the plumb-
ing within or without the buildings to be connected with the
system of sewers and to license and have supervision over all
persons undertaking to do plumbing work within the corporate
limits of Ridgely.

SEC. 52. That this act shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 579.

To the General Assembly of Maryland, January Session,

1912:

WHEREAS, The present iron bridge, generally known as "Denton
Bridge," spanning the Choptank River, for the purpose of
free travel to and from Denton, the county seat of Caroline
county, may be said to have outlived its usefulness and is
inadequate for the accommodation for the present and con-
stantly increasing movement of teams and traffic thereover
(largely because of its only being a single-track bridge); and
