as they are now or may hereafter be conducted under the laws
of the State of Maryland pertaining to elections in the City of
Cumberland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 11, 1912.

CHAPTER 510.

AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 75 of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Pleading, Practice and Pro-
cess at Law," under the sub-title "Removal of Causes," to
follow section 107, and to be known as section 107A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 75 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Plead-
ing, Practice and Process at Law," under the sub-title "Removal
of Causes," to follow section 107, to be known as section 107A,
and to read as follows:

107A. The cost of transcript of record in all suits or actions
at law, issues from the Orphans' Court, or from any Court
sitting in Equity, shall be paid to the clerk making the same,
by the party suggesting such removal before the said record is
transmitted.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 8, 1912.

CHAPTER 511.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, section 125
of Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws of 1904,
title "Elections," sub-title "Miscellaneous Provisions," so as
to provide for authorizing any two or more precincts to be
subdivided in any district where any one of said precincts
contains more than six hundred voters, and whenever such
subdivision is in the judgment and discretion of the Board
of Supervisors of Elections for the convenience of the voters;
and to ratify and confirm all such subdivisions as have been
