son shall be paid out of the sales of said bonds as part of the
costs of construction or purchase of said plant.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the Town Commissioners
of Centreville shall keep a full registry of the bonds authorized
under this act to be issued, with the, name or names of the pur-
chasers thereof, the date of issue, date of maturity and amount
of each bond. When a bond is redeemed, said bond shall at
once be cancelled on its face, and the entry of said cancellation
shall be made in said book of registry.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the treasurer of the board
of commissioners of said corporation shall perform the duties of
collecting the sum or sums of money due by consumers for
electric service according to the regulations of said corporation,
and all sums so collected shall be kept separate from the other
funds of said corporation, and as collected shall be deposited by
said treasurer in bank in the name of "The Town Commis-
sioners of Centreville, Electric Plant Rate Fund," and shall be
withdrawn only by checks signed by the said treasurer, and
countersigned by at least one other commissioner of said cor-
poration. All sums of money collected from the consumers for
electric service shall be first applied to the payment of all
expenses of running and maintaining said plant, repairing the
same, and to the cost of extending and enlarging the same from
time to time to meet the requirements of demands for electric
service. The sums of money remaining and actually in hand
on the first day of April of each year, after allowance for expen-
diture mentioned above in this section, shall be applied by said
corporation to the payment of the interest on said bonds and
to the payment of said bonds as same shall fall clue. A.11 money
received from consumers for service as aforesaid shall be applied
as directed by this section and to no other purpose whatsoever.
The Town Commissioners of Centreville are hereby authorized,
empowered and directed to fix and from time to time change
the compensation said Treasurer shall receive for the duties
imposed upon him by this section, and said compensation,
together with the cost, if any, of the bond hereinafter men-
tioned, shall be paid out of the sums received from consumers
of electric power and energy for electric services and shall be
considered part of the cost of maintenance of said plant and
shall be in addition to the other amounts allowed to said Treas-
urer for his other duties. The said Treasurer, before entering
upon the duties required of him by this act, shall give to the
Town Commissioners of Centreville a bond in such amount and
with such surety or sureties as the Town Commissioners of
Centreville shall determine and approve, conditioned for the
