CHAPTER 466.

AN ACT making appropriation for printing the annual report
and official blanks of the Mine Inspector and for his other
necessary expense required by Chapter 124 of the Acts of
1902.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to draw his warrants on the Treasurer for one thousand
and seventy-eight dollars and ninety-seven cents in favor of the
Evening Times of Cumberland, Maryland, in payment of the
cost of printing one thousand copies of the annual report of
the Mine Inspector to the first day of May, 1911, and one
thousand copies of his report to the first day of May, 1912, and
for a deficit in printing his report to May 1st, 1910, and for
six hundred and ninety-three dollars and twenty-five cents in
favor of John H. Donahue, Mine Inspector, for the cost of
printing his official blanks and for other necessary expense in
connection with testing the accuracy of the scales at the several
mines, expenses which the Mine Inspector is required to incur
by provisions of sections 197, 202, 209N of said Chapter 124
of the Acts of 1902, and provided for by said act; but for
which no appropriation is made.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

The item contained in the above bill of $1,078.97 in favor
of the Evening Times of Cumberland in payment of the cost of
printing annual reports is disapproved for the amount of
$578.97, and approved to the amount of $500. And the item
contained in the said bill of $693.75 in favor of John H.
Donahue the cost of printing official blanks and expenses is
disapproved as to the sum of $393.25 and approved as to
$300.

CHAPTER 467.

AN ACT to refund to the Western Maryland Railway Company
a sum of money paid by said Eailway Company to the Treas-
urer of Allegany county, and covered into the Treasury of
the State for taxes erroneously levied upon the properties of
the said Railway Company.
