credit such fund with the interest derived therefrom; and upon
the retirement from office or any disqualification to act of such
treasurer the entire fund, including such bonds and the books
and papers pertaining to such fund, shall be delivered by such
treasurer to his successor in office, who shall receipt for the
same.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That all rights and liabilities
incurred under the section hereby repealed and re-enacted shall
not be impaired or affected, but shall continue and remain in
full force and effect and any suit begun or hereafter to be
brought upon such rights or liabilities shall not be abated by
reason of this enactment.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 446.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, section 115B
of section 115 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, entitled "Allegany County," sub-title "Cumber-
land," said sub-section 115B under the title "Treasurer," a&
enacted by the Acts of Assembly of 1910, Chapter 306, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sub-section 115B of section 115 of Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Allegany
County," sub-title "Cumberland," said sub-section 115B under
the title "Treasurer," as enacted by the Acts of Assembly of
1910, Chapter 306, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:
Treasurer.
SEC. 115B. That in addition to the duties hereinbefore pre-
scribed for the Commissioner of Finance and Revenue, he shall
also be the Treasurer of said city, and as such Treasurer shall
give bond in such amount and in such form as may be required
by the said Mayor and City Council, in a sum not less than
twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), with a surety company
authorized to do business in the State of Maryland as surety
