annually levy a tax, exclusive of the tax of sixty cents on the
property of the town elsewhere provided for, upon the assess-
able property of the town sufficient to pay the bond or bonds
maturing in each year that may be issued under this act and
the interest thereon and the interest on all bonds outstanding
and unpaid; and the amount of said tax shall be kept separately
by the said Mayor and Council and not used for any other pur-
pose than as herein specified.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That all acts and parts of acts incon-
sistent with the intent and purpose of this act be and the same
are hereby repealed in so far as they or either of them are
inconsistent herewith.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 407.

AN ACT to extend and enlarge the powers and privileges of the
Bank of Crisfield, a corporation formed under the provisions
of the Public General Laws of Maryland.

(Vetoed.)

CHAPTER 408.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 18 of the Acts of 1910, title "Charles
County," subtitle "Dogs."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 18 of the Acts of 1910, title "Charles
County," sub-title "Dogs," be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 8, 1912.

CHAPTER 409.

AN ACT to refund to the Union Mills Savings Bank of Carroll
County, Maryland, a body corporate, duly incorporated
under the laws of the State of Maryland, a sum of money
erroneously paid by it into the State Treasury.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the comptroller of the treasury be and he is hereby
