CHAPTER 356.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to any legacies now existing or here-
after given or appropriations made or hereafter to be made
by the General Assembly of Maryland or by the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to The Exeter Street Rescue
Home for Women.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That all legacies now existing or hereafter given by per-
sons dying, after the date of this act, and all appropriations
made or hereafter to be made by the General Assembly of
Maryland, or by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore,
and intended for The Exeter Street Rescue Home for Women,
but given or made by its former name of The Home for
Fallen Women of Baltimore City instead of its present name,
shall remain and inure to the benefit of The Exeter Street
Rescue Home for Women.

SEC. 2. And be it enactd, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 357.

AN ACT to prevent horses, mules, horned cattle, swine and

geese from running at large unattended in the village of

Lansdowne, Baltimore county; defining the limits of said

village; and providing a penalty for the violation thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for any person to allow his,
her or their stock of any kind, including horses, mules, cattle,
goats and swine, or geese, to go at large unattended in the vil-
lage of Lansdowne. The metes and bounds of the village of
Lansdowne shall be deemed and taken to be as follows: Being
bound on the west by the Hammond's Ferry road, on the north
by a road known as the Mine Bank road, said to be twenty feet
wide, extending from the Hammond Ferry road to the property
of the Whittaker estate; on the east by the property of the
Whittaker estate, Mt. Zion's cemetery and Gitting's estate, and
on the south by property known as the Stransbaugh estate and
the ore road leading through said property.
