a salary of nine hundred dollars per annum, and no more,
which shall be annually levied by the County Commissioners
of Calvert County to the use of the State's Attorney, for the
performance of the duties which are now or may be hereafter
required of him by law, to be paid for by the County Commis-
sioners of Calvert County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent with this act be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 104.
AN ACT providing for the building of a high school building
and providing heating apparatus therefor in the town of E.
New Market, Dorchester county, Maryland, and to authorize
and to require the Board of County School Commissioners
of said county to borrow money for the purpose of building
said high school building and providing heating apparatus
therefor by the sale of the present school building and by the
issuing of bonds, to be endorsed by the County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester County, and to authorize the County
Commissioners to levy taxes on the assessable property of
said county to redeem said bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That William E. Johnson, Oliver W. Hubbard, John A.
Baker, Charles W. Meyer and Samuel J. T. Smith be and they
are hereby appointed a committee to be styled ''The Building
Committee of East New Market High School," to serve without
pay for the purpose of building a high school building of brick,
located on the school lot in the town of E. New Market, Mary-
land, and provide suitable and sufficient heating apparatus
therefor; three of said committee shall constitute a quorum and
the concurrence of three of them shall be necessary for the
decision of all questions which may arise in the discharge of
their duties, and all vacancies in said building committee,
whether from death, refusal to act, resignation or otherwise,
shall be filled by competent persons from E. New Market Elec-
tion District, to be selected by the said Board of County School
Commissioners of Dorchester County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said building committee
shall as speedily as possible, procure and adopt plans and specifi-
