1614 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 826]

CHAPTER 825.

AN ACT to authorize, empower and direct the County Commis-
sioners of Charles County to levy at their next levy a sum
of money to the use of Walter J. Mitchell, paid by the said
Walter J. Mitchell into the treasury of Charles county in
error.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Charles County be
and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
levy at the next levy the sum of seventy-one dollars and forty-
seven cents ($71.47), to the use of said Walter J. Mitchell
paid by the said Walter J. Mitchell into the treasury of Charles
county in error.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 826.

AN ACT to authorize the clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince
George's County, Maryland, to provide metallic files for the
better protection of the law and equity court papers and
records of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County,
Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
County, Maryland, be and he is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to provide metallic files for the better protection of the
law and, equity court papers and records of the Circuit Court
for Prince George's County, Maryland, according to the most
approval system now in vogue.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Prince George's County, be and they are hereby
authorized, directed and required to levy on the assessable prop-
erty of said county as other county charges are levied a sum
sufficient to pay for the said metallic files; said sum so to bn
levied, not to be less than eight hundred dollars ($800) nor to
exceed the sum of sixteen hundred dollars ($1600) unless the
fees and receipts of the said clerk's office for services rendered
and work done in said office shall prove sufficient to pay for
the said files after all the office expenses and salaries of the
said clerk shall be paid, when the costs of providing and fur-
