by any beneficiary, and any such sale, assignment, or transfer
of the same shall be absolutely void.

376s. The terms "Teachers" and "Members of the Teaching
Force of Baltimore County," as used in this act, shall mean
and include any superintendent, principal, vice-principal, assist-
ant superintendent, supervisors, assistant supervisors, persons in
charge of any special department of instruction, and any
teacher, instructor or clerk regularly employed as such by the
Board of County School Commissioners of Baltimore County,
or the board of district trustees of the respective schools, or
either of them or both as the case may be.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 84.

AN ACT to ratify and confirm the certificate of incorporation,
to amend the charter and to enlarge the powers of the Yough-
iogheny Power Company, a. corporation duly incorporated
and organized under the general incorporation laws of the
State of Maryland.

WHEREAS, The Youghiogbeny Power Company was duly incor-
porated under the general incorporation laws of the State of
Maryland, and organized in accordance with the provisions
thereof, with its principal or home office located at Friends-
ville, in Garrett county, Maryland, and its certificate of
incorporation being recorded in the office of the State Tax
Commissioner in Liber B. S. No. 1, folios 567 and 568, one
of the Charter Records of said office, and also recorded in
Liber E. Z. T. No. 2, folio 203, etc., one of the Charter Rec-
ords of Garrett county, Maryland; and

WHEREAS, Said corporation is now desirous through its board of
directors to have all the powers, rights and privileges granted
to it under said certificate of incorporation ratified and con-
firmed by the General Assembly of the State of Maryland,
and in addition thereto, to have its said powers, rights and
privileges enlarged and extended; now, therefore,
