1500 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 790]

1896, ch. 179, sec. 6.

521. That the money arising from the sale of said bonds
(which said bonds shall be sold either at auction or by sealed
bids, after due advertisement thereof, to the highest responsible
bidders), shall be paid to the Mayor and council of Rock-
ville, the clerk to it shall keep in a book for the purpose a
full registry of the bonds sold, the serial numbers of the bonds
and the names and addresses of the purchasers and amounts
realized on sales, and any transfers or assignments of the same.

1904, ch. 130, sec. 3.

522. To redeem the bonds issued under the Act of 1904,
Chapter 130, the said Mayor and Council of Rockville shall
have full power and authority, and are hereby required to levy
all necessary taxes upon property within the taxable limits of
said corporation for the payment of the interest on the bonds
hereby authorized to be issued, and for payment of the principal
thereof at the maturity thereof, and shall create a sinking fund
for the purpose, and levy the necessary taxes thereof, to the
amount of at least three hundred dollars each year in addition
to the taxes levied under section 493.

1910 ch. 96, sec. 212A.

523 The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company is hereby
required to keep in addition to the safety gates operated from
the present or any tower a flagman or signalman stationed dur-
ing each and every day from 6 o'clock A. M. to 12 o'clock mid-
night, at the crossing of its railroad over Baltimore street in
said town, to warn persons using said crossing over said railroad
at said crossing of the approach of trains upon said railroad,
and that said railroad company shall not require any one such
flagman or signalman to serve for more than nine hours during
the course of any day at said crossing.

524. The said Baltimore and Ohio Railraod Company shall
be liable to pay a fine of fifty dollars for each and every day
that it shall fail or neglect to comply with the provisions of
the preceding section, said fine to be recovered in an action of
debt in the name of the State of Maryland before any justice of
the peace in and for Montgomery county, and to be paid when
collected into the public school fund of said county.

525. That hereafter the Board of County School Commis-
