Ibid. sec. 3.

185. That in all matters and for all purposes the person
appearing upon the records of said Montgomery county as the
owner, either by the original transaction or as assignee as afore-
said, of such debt or debts, shall be conclusively presumed to
he the true and lawful owner of the same.

Ibid. sec. 4.

186. That no release of such deed of trust made and exe-
cuted by the trustee or trustees named therein, or his or their
legal representatives, shall be valid or effectual to release or

discharge the lien created by such deed of trust unless the per-
son or persons appearing on the records, as aforesaid, as the
owner of the debt or debts secured thereby, or his, her or their
legal representative, shall sign and acknowledge such release.

187. That upon each note or other evidence of debt secured
by such deed of trust there shall be endorsed the fact that the
same is secured by deed of trust upon real estate in Montgomery

county, Maryland.

188. This act shall not affect deed's of trust executed and
recorded prior to April 3rd, 1906, or the releases of the same.

DOGS.
1910, ch. 717, sec. 1.

189. That all owners of dogs born before the first of Janu-
ary in each year, in Montgomery county, shall pay to the county
.an annual tax of one dollar for each male dog and two dollars
for each female dog, except keepers of kennels, who shall pay
a kennel, license of ten dollars per annum for less than twenty-
five dogs; between twenty-five and fifty dogs, twenty-five dol-
lars. The dog tax collector shall issue a kennel license, which
shall specify the name of the owner, name of kennel and keeper

of same, and any dog kept or straying about the premises of
any person with his knowledge, whether such person be the
owner or only the occupant of said premises, shall be deemed
for the purpose of this section the property of said person, and
the tax imposed by this section shall be due and payable on the
first day of January of each year, and shall be payable within
the first thirty days of each year.

190. That it shall be the duty of the county commissioners
to provide the constables of the county in their respective dis-
tricts, with suitable metal tags, having stamped on one side the
number thereof and on the other side the year for which they
