sions of this act, so far as the same relate to the City of Fred-
erick Armory authorized hereby. And said commission shall
secure a suitable site upon which to construct said armory and is
authorized to make all necessary contracts for the construction
and equipment of the same.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That a building commis-
sion is hereby created to be styled "City of Salisbury Armory
Commission," and to be constituted as follows, namely, The
Adjutant-General of the State of Maryland, Captain Samuel
R. Douglas, First Regiment, Maryland National Guard; L.
Atwood Bennett, Marion V. Brewington and Walter B. Miller.
Said commission is hereby clothed with all the powers necessary
for the carrying out of the provisions of this act so far as the
same relate to the City of Salisbury Armory authorized hereby.
And said commission shall secure a suitable site upon which to
construct said armory and is authorized to make all necessary
contracts for the construction and equipment of the same.
SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That upon the comple-
tion of the said armories herein provided for, all title to the
same shall be vested in the State of Maryland to be held and
controlled as the general property of the said State used by the
Maryland National Guard is by law held and controlled.
SEC. 12. Be it further enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State Board of Forestry shall, in addition
to the powers heretofore granted it, have the power to be exer-
cised within their discretion, to acquire by purchase lands
between the town of Relay (or Elkridge Landing) and a point
10 miles above that town, on either side of the Patapsco River,
in Howard and Baltimore counties, within a distance of one-
half mile on either side from the medial line of said river, at
such prices as they may determine it to be worth, within the
appropriation hereunder made, the same to be paid for out of
the funds appropriated by this act, to be held by the State as a
State Forest Reserve, under the protection and administration
of the State Board of Forestry, which shall exercise the same
power in the matter of making rules and regulations in the
management thereof as other State forest reserves are now sub-
ject to or may hereafter be subject to. The territory which may
be acquired hereunder shall be subject to all the general laws
heretofore passed by the Legislature of the State not inconsist-
ent herewith, but acts inconsistent with the provisions of this
act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 13. Be it further enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State Roads Commission of Maryland be
