PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 1105

acted and newly enacted sections being a new charter for the
town of Laurel, Prince George's county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 191, 200, 203, 204, 205, 212, 213, 214,
215, 216, 217, 218, 226, 227, 231, 235, 238, 239, 240, 241,
242, 243, 244 and 246 of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County," sub-
title "Laurel;" sections 190, 192, 195, 196, 198, 199, 201,
208, 209, 210, 211, 219, 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 228, 229,
230, 232, 233, 234, 236, 245 and 246A of said Article 17 as
the same were repealed and re-enacted and enacted by Chapter
201 of the Acts of Assembly of 1890; sections 206, 220, 246B,
246C, 246D, 246E and 246F of said Article IT as the same
were repealed and re-enacted and enacted by Chapter 163 of the
Acts of Assembly of 1892; section 237 of said Article 17 as
the same was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 127 of the
Acts of 1894; and sections 193, 194, 194A, 194B, 194C, 194D,
194E, 194F, 194G, 194H, 194I, 197, 202 and 207 of said
Article 17 as the same were repealed and re-enacted and enacted
by Chapter 111 of the Acts of Assembly of 1904, be and the
same are hereby repealed and sections 1 to 190 to 246, both
inclusive, of said Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Prince George's County," sub-title "Laurel," be and the
same are hereby re-enacted with amendments and a new section
to said article to come immediately after section 246 and to be
known as section 2461/2 is hereby enacted the said re-enacted
sections and the said additional section to read as follows:
Body Corporate.

SEC. 190. The citizens of the town of Laurel, in Prince.
George's county, are a body corporate by the name of the Mayor
and City Council of Laurel, and by that name may have per-
petual succession, sue and be sued, have and use a common
seal, and may purchase and hold real estate or dispose of the
same for the benefit of the said town.

Boundaries.

SEC. 191. The limits of the said town shall begin on the
Patuxent river, a quarter of a mile below the railroad; thence
with said river to Walker's branch; thence southerly along;
Walker's branch to Talbot run or Crow's branch; thence south-
easterly with said Talbot or Crow's branch to a point on said
run or branch one-quarter of a mile beyond and across the
Washington branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; thence
northerly in a straight line to the place of beginning.
