PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 1019'

CHAPTER 667.

AN ACT to repair and reconstruct about ten miles of road'
known as the Old Government Post Road, lying between the
towns of Elkton and Perryville in Cecil county, to demon-
strate the value and economy of day-gravel construction with
proper drainage; to appropriate the sum of forty thousand
dollars ($40,000.00) therefor, and to direct the State Roads
Commission to proceed with said construction and mainte-
nance, keeping strict account and reporting to the Governor
of Maryland the costs upon completion and the costs of main-
tenance thereafter.

CHAPTER 668.

AN ACT to create and establish a new election district in Prince
George's county and to provide for the proper registration of
the legal and qualified voters therein.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by ike General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new election district in Prince George's county,
Maryland, be and the same is hereby created and established
from parts of District No. 16, now known as Hyattsville Dis-
trict, and District No. 2, now known as Bladensburg District,
said new district to be known as Riverdale District or as Dis-
trict No. 19.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the election district so to
be created and established shall be within the following metes
and bounds and practically by the following courses—that is
to say: Beginning at a point on the Washington and Baltimore
Boulevard, now known as State Road No. 1, said point being
the southwest corner of Riverdale, where it joins the Town of
Hyattsville; thence easterly with corporate limits of Hyatts-
ville to the Baltimore, and Ohio Railroad tracks; thence east-
erly to a gate on the property of Charles A. Machem, now
owned by Mr. Schofield, near the gravel hill on the Edmonston
Road; thence southerly with the said Edmonston Road to the
southwest corner of Machem's property; thence with the south-
ern and eastern boundary lines of said Machem's property to
intersect the southern boundary line of the property owned by
Ringgold W. Browning, Trustee, now known as Melrose; thence
with southern and eastern boundary lines of said Browning's
