Maryland tax help for individuals and busi-
nesses is now just a keystroke away for millions of PC
users surfing the World Wide Web from America to
Zaire.

Thanks to the home page Comptroller
Goldstein installed for the State Comptroller's Office
during fiscal year 1996, taxpayers and other Web
browsers can find a host of useful information at the
comptroller's web address - www.comp.state.md.us
- from how to start a new business in Maryland to
completing tax forms as a new resident to getting
answers about Maryland's tax treatment of estates.

The home page offers downloadable tax
forms and helpful information for tax practitioners,
businesses and individual taxpayers. It will also allow
users to search the most recently reported list of
owners of unclaimed funds.
