The other important tenant in the Annapolis Data Center besides the comptroller's Data
Processing Division is the Central Payroll Bureau where teams of employees like Eleanor Moen
and Lisa Gee process payrolls for 95,000 state employees while managing over one million
deductions every day. The payroll function was among the first computerized under
Comptroller Goldstein's leadership.
