(2) Chapter 823 Acts of 1941 beginning October 1, 1941 taxes reduced to 1/2 of 1%, but the law
was revised to include sources not previously taxed under this law.

(3) Chapter 601 of the Acts of 1947 provides for the distribution of the proceeds from the tax to
the several political sub-divisions of the State after retaining the amount expended for ad-
ministration. The law also authorizes the levying of additional taxes by the several political
sub-divisions.
