I commend to your careful consideration the various statements
and exhibits which follow in this Report. I believe it will be helpful
to you if you will- first look over the Table of Contents, which pre-
cedes this letter of transmittal, and familiarize yourselves with the
various statements in the Report, as a reading of this Table of
Contents will doubtless suggest to you certain matters in the State's
finances that you will probably want to know something about and
it will be possible for you to turn to the proper statement and page
in the Report without having to leaf through the Report to locate
some of the information you will want. Our office will be glad at
all times to have you contact it for any explanation you might want
of the information which is in the Report or supply other informa-
tion you may want which is not included in the Report.
