fund and the general emergency fund, as provided in the law under
which those appropriations were made. There have been certain
disbursements out of the post-war construction, fund in the fiscal
year and; further disbursements will be necessary between now and
the time the: actual construction will begin. The payments up to
this time have been principally for architectural fees for the prepara-
tion of plans and specifications which will be in ireadiness when, the
war emergency is over and we will be able to proceed with the con-
struction of the projects. I am giving you, herein, a statenaent of
the construction projects which have been approved sup to this time
by the Board of Public. Works upon the recommendation of the
Maryland Commission on Post-War Reconstruction and Develop-
ment. It will be inecessary, however, that the money to pay for -these
projects be provided and I am assuming that this will be covered in
the Budget and other legislation which will be introduced by the
Governor at the 1945 session. The figures I am giving merely show
the name of the agency for which construction is contemplated and
the total amount allotted for such construction, which has constituted
the basis for the authority given for the preparation of plans and
specifications.
