I respectfully submit to you my annual report of the
financial condition of the State, giving in detail the operations
of the Treasury Department for the fiscal year ended on the
30th day of September, 1894, as required by Section 9 of
Article 19 of the Code of Public General Laws.

RECEIPTS,

There was received into the Treasury from all sources
during the fiscal year; the sum of $2,606,103.67, as given in
detail in Statement A in the first Appendix of this Report,
and the balance in the Treasury on the 30th day of September,
1893, the end of the previous fiscal year, was $569,050,50,
