STATEMENT M.

Showing the suns paid to Volunteers, Drafted Men, &c., dur-
ing the Fiscal Year which ended September 30th, 1873,
together with a condensed Statement showing the total Re-
ceipts and Disbursements on account of Bounty to Volun-
teers,

DISBURSEMENTS.	AMOUNTS.	AGGREGATES.-
The total amount disbursed during the Fiscal Year,
for bounty to volunteers, drafted men and salaries,
was $16,800 00, viz:
To white volunteers and drafted men....................	$3,200 00
" colored free volunteers and drafted men.............	9,850 00
" colored slaves '' " " .............	200 00
" white and colored in U. S. Navy.......................	2,050 00
" expenses and clerical services............................	1,500 00
		$16.800 00'
The amounts received from Bounty Taxes, and re-pay-
ments into the Treasury, were as follows :
