REVENUE FROM CLERKS OF COURTS.
Table No. 2, of the Appendix, shows the receipts from these
officers during the fiscal year to have been $296,489.07, which
is an increase of $17,968.52 compared with the preceding
year ; of this amount, the sum of $180,660.48 was paid into
the Treasury by the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of
Baltimore.
The revenue from the sale of Licenses, (included in the
Table referred to) reached the sum of $277,120.80, an increase
of $12,385.44 compared with 1858, and of $32,247.19 com-

account in any former year.

The Clerks have generally settled their accounts with this
Department with great punctuality.
