Of the Free, School Fund, and of the Sinking Fund, constituting "The Funds"
he submits the following Report:

On the 1st December, 1852, there remained in the
Treasury to the credit of the Free Schools Fund, . . . And there was received in the year ended 30th Septem- ber, 1853, on account of the Free Schools Fund, the sum of $62,673.00 from the following' sources, viz : From 20 cents Tax on Capital of the following Banks,		20,527 49
