MARYLAND, Sct:
At an Extraordinary Session of the General Assembly of
Maryland, begun and held in the City of Annapolis, on the
Sixth day of March, 1901, His Excellency, JOHN WALTER
SMITH, being Governor, the following laws were enacted, to
wit :
CHAPTER 1.
AN ACT making appropriation for the payment of the ex-
penses of the Legislature of Maryland for the extraordinary
session of nineteen hundred and one.

SECTION i . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of thirty-three thousand dollars, or so t
much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby
appropriated to pay the officers and members of the General
Assembly of the extraordinary session of nineteen hundred
and one, including postage, stationery, mileage and miscel-
laneous expenses; for the printing of the General Assembly of
the extraordinary session of nineteen hundred and one the
sum of four thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated; for binding
the laws and journals of the said extraordinary session of the
General Assembly of nineteen hundred and one, the sum of
twenty -five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated; to the
William J. "C. Dulany Company for supplying stationery,
blank books, etc., for use of the extraordinary session of the
General Assembly of nineteen hundred and one, the sum of
fifteen hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary, be and the same is hereby appropriated; to the Clerk of
the Court of Appeals for recording the laws of the extra-
ordinary session of the General Assembly of nineteen hundred
and one, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars, or so much
